My Croton Collection.....8 years in the making

Recommended Posts

TikiRick

Can anyone assist with the identification of some of my crotons? These are photos taken 10/18/08 on a windy, most cloudy day. If I think I have an idea of the identification, I will list it. I may be wrong, so please help! (Ray, Jeff, anyone?)

Jeff,

I have many more ID's but the network will only allow you to go out and back into edit a few times, so it locked me out editing more.

I will be there for the Croton Meeting. I may bring a few friends, but I will certainly RSVP with an exact number. I will bring some food as well.

What's even more amazing.......Rick has a fabalous palm collection and bromeliads......and a lot of other stuff. Always orchids blooming somewhere. There is more color in his palm garden than any place I've ever seen. No wonder he keeps winning awards.

Holy smokes Ray...that's probably without a textbook for comparison I'm guessing. Very impressive....your knowledge and Rick's collection. Gives me a new appreciation for the vast diversity in Crotons. I am feeling kinda homeless with only 2 types.

Wow, I'm glad to hear you both will be coming down,I look forward to seeing the two of you, send me a PM when you decide what you want to bring, so I can tell Andrea.

This gathering will also have many, many palm society members including several from PalmTalk. It will be alot of fun. Oh, and expect your picture taken that day, you know who will be there with his camera..... :)
