Cape Verde Storms are the Hammers in the Gallery of historical punishment for Florida.Although Hurricane Season technically runs from June 1-Nov 1,a brief review of substantial Hurricanes will show August 16-Sept 16 as the critical Cape Verde time-frame.The 1928 Hurricane that effected Palm Beach and the Glades hit on a Sunday night and was considered a September 16 Storm.

Will Invest 92 be another Cape Verde destroyer or will it not?

This is an interesting website with graphical outputs for some of the models they use to predict weather.

The GFDL Sea Level Pressure run for the most recent invest92 model is pretty exciting. Has it hitting St. Joe's Bay as a strong Cat 3. This one is several days away so hopefully the outlook will change for the better.

You can also go to www.wunderground.com where you can find all kinds of forecast models, different types of satellite photos, and read blogs from hurricane specialists about the storm's development and forecast track.

It will. You'll feel it, but lightly.
