Prelude to Aloe season

This is always my first aloe to bloom.  I always consider this time of year to be the beginning of 'Aloe Season'.

Anyway, it surprised me because I hadn't been down here in awhile or I must have missed the spike development or something.  It only has two bloom stalks this year.  I think in the past it usually has three or four.

Nice Ron!  I have an A. vera and an A. vogtsii that already have stalks and should look pretty good in a week or so.
