Great avitar John! But if they can last 2000 years no need for a boat........a little flooding wouldn't be a problem :lol:

Thanks David. I've often thought that a floating palm garden would be a great idea. It would be like Radio Caroline was in the sixties and seventies; defying regulations by dropping anchor close to land and throwing seeds into the water for beach-combing palm enthusiasts to collect.

You tease us. Will you be adding more? On the subject of Date Palms, I consumed a bag of fresh dates last week and the seeds are now in for germination. Growing palms is such a pleasure when you can enjoy the fruits or your success beforehand.
