There is way too much stuff out there already. I am not adding any of my stuff out there. Maybe I don't want to be found. Or contacted. Or find my picture posted somewhere I am unaware of. My company likes for us to have our picture and resume on their website. I put the absolute minimum amount of information out there and since I am a remote employee I've managed to escape the picture part.

Does pretending to be someone other than myself count?

If so I have at least 10 different Facebook accounts.

I'll have to watch Nightline more often. Maybe I'll meet some friends.

For the record, I have one facebook account and it is of a 36 year old man, albeit a fabulously wealthy playboy jet setting 36 yr old who looks uncannily like Brad Pitt (I photograph well). I'm not a stalker!

I do have the feeling that Matt and Paul are actually the same person. I'm just trying to figure out which one is the real deal, if either. MattPaul is probably a homeland security officer monitoring this site for subversive activities.

What is the point of having a social network site aimed at absolutely everyone, for whatever reason or interest, yet not make it public access - when currently it has 300 million active users? It's no surprise that people create dummy accounts just to find out what's going on. I don't disagree with the concept, in fact I started my own social website for palm, plant and tree enthusiasts, but it's a special interest group compared to Facebook.

I got roped into it also. It's ok, but the more I use it the more it seems like mindless dribble. I prefer to email or text friends directly. The best thing about Facebook is the Iphone app that keeps it permanently connected so you can check for comments immediately. If this app did not exist I would axe my account, I still may axe it anyway.

I end up getting friend requests from everyone and their mother who I'm not even currently in touch with and then all I see is their "I'm awake now" and "Gotta eat a sandwhich now" crap. So I just delete them.

I use it to keep in touch with my family. You don't have to say 'yes' to everyone who invites you as their friends. Email and phone calls are better, but harder to do... whereas facebook is a lot easier when you have family overseas. No secret on past boyfriends here...as Scott reads my facebook.

I'm liking it more. I just wish my friends would post more crap like I do. I love reading crapola, when it's funny or just plain out there. I have a farm in farmville too, would someone send me another chook ?

I've posted some pics and flicks there, it's all good.

You can invite me in, if you dare.

You are the umpteenth person that has said that. I don't understand how that actually happens.......not necessarily old girlfriends, per se, but anybody that has known you in the last 30 years pops out of the woodwork. Kind of interesting.
