This is a great species and fast growing by Cycad standards. In the tropical conditions of my polytunnel, mine usually flushes every two to three months. It remains to be seen how well it will cope with UK winters when it moves outside this year or next. Here's mine at about three years old. This rather bad picture was taken at the end of May and I received the plant as a one leaf seedling in August 05.
