lack of snark

Tad

Recommended Posts

Below is the last known photo of Paul to be posted on the forum. If you are as observant as I am you'll notice his mustache is not there.

In that last thread of his regarding his office moving, there was no snark at all. Just nice comments about Trachies and coworkers.

I'm wondering if the power of Pohenkelapa's snarkiness is in that black mustache, much like Samson in the Bible.

Just an observation...

Now don't be rough on Paul.  It all started at the sushi restaurant when he had some ill prepared snark.  You see snark is like blowfish.  It must be properly prepared or serious harm may come to the consumer.  First sign is they start hanging around with snark bait, you know, those folks who are easy targets for snark.  It is called OUIS, or operating under the influence of snark.  The OUIS individual actually replaces snark at the top of the food chain, often causing severe emotional damage through the careless application of snark.  So far Paul, has not progressed to the final stages of the disease, that being snarking innocent individuals.  Right now, he is only snarking those who have snarked others.   But we must keep a careful eye out for progression of his OUIS to insure that the innocent are protected.

Paul, we pray for your recovery and the continued protection of the innocent.  As for Matty, go at it, as he is bordering on OUIS himself.  Either way, snark canibalism is totally acceptable.

As a side note for those who are studying OUIS, this seems to propagate itself more freely in a dry climate like So Cal.  So far the cases are few and far between in So. Fla.   Dave, having recently been observed in both climates may give us a clue as to whether the So Cal variety of OUIS is curable by short term exposure to the So Fla climate.

Have faith Paul.  We are taking up a collection for a trip to So Fla for you.  Look at the tremendous progress that Dave has seen as a result.

Stop, back, back.   Hold the snark, hold the snark.   Easy boy.

I knew it had gone big time a while back when I was channel surfing and heard it on MSNBC.  I suspect thats where Paul heard it first.....Or is it a "Chicken and the Egg" sort of thing?   ???

Jennifer (Mrs. MattyB) would like it to be reiterated that she is the one responsible for bringing back the word "SNARK", "SNARKY", etc.... into circulation.  It began about a year ago.  Paul does get credit for the hybrid "SNARKASM" and the clever use in his signature "THE PRINCE OF SNARKNESS".  Jennifer wants her recognition and it's not advised that you deny her in this matter.  It won't be pretty.  She is the original SNARK.

I believe "snarky" was first put into regular use on CNN or CNBC.  But  Jennifer should get credit for the regional circulation of snark.

And for those unfamiliar with snarkiness...

snarky

adjective ( snarkier, snarkiest) informal

(of a person, words, or a mood) sharply critical; cutting; snide : the kid who makes snarky remarks in class.

• cranky; irritable : Bobby's always a bit snarky before his nap.

snark |snärk|

noun

an imaginary animal (used to refer to someone or something that is difficult to track down).

ORIGIN 1876: nonsense word coined by Lewis Carroll in The Hunting of the Snark.

Wow so I guess Paul  is a snarky snark!! :D

As a plagued Sardonic,I am intrigued by this struggle for Snark.Paul I am sure is a good guy notwithstanding his tendency towards Snark. It seems that there is something about the Internet and the inability to communicate directly that creates my own tendency to be over the top, unkind and down right Snarkadelic.

Combine that tendency with the "New Age"practice of Law,(he who shoots to kill first wins)and you have a recipe for a plane crash.Every good intention will be returned with machine gun fire.

Anyone who desires a Palm tour in this area will be greeted kindly with no Snark. If my Snark has killed more than I can eat, I apologize.

I have no idea what is going on in this thread, it's like Ohana'Nui has been transported to a really bizarre dimension.  That said, going by the definition a few posts above, I may have a propensity for the occasional snarkish rebuttal, though I generally try to save these for face to face altercations.
