I see these around also.  I fink they are a species of Kalanchoe, but not sure.

Does anyone know if these plants are easy to find for purchase?  I dont recall ever seeing them for sale.

I have seen them at HD by the cactus. A group like that would cost a fortune though.

How much $ are we talking?

I was thinking (just thinking.....) about using them as ground cover in areas between the sidewalk and the street.  But, this would an area be probably at least 5 times the area of the planting in the picture above.

But...I guess I can rule that out if these things are big bucks!

Probably about $3.99 a plant. We have one in a pot, I don't see that it spreads in any way or form if it's the same thing.

The one I bought was very small but grew fast.

So a bunch for a mass planting could be very expensive

Sounds like I better move onto plan B :D  At 4 bucks a plant, Id spend a few hundred bucks to cover the desired area.  And, its doubtful the store would have enough in stock anyway.  

Although these would make a neat planting for this area, for a couple hundred bucks I could buy alot of nice Cuban Royals from some guy on the east coast!  LOL.
