That was my inclination...but dang is this thing fat!  It seems much thicker in trunk than most.  Perhaps its just well fed?

I would guess the palm has sylvestris in it by the trunk and the arrangement of the fronds.  The green fronds and thickness of the trunk could mean it is a sylvestris/canariensis hybrid.

That is my guess

Looks like a CIDP crossed with sylvestris to me, too.

Dacties tend to get fungus in Florida, from what I hear.  

It's not fluffy and white in the leaves like a pure sylvestris, but it does have a flaring base to the trunk like sylvestris.

The trunk's a bit heavy, but it's nowhere near as fat as I've seen CIDPs.

Thanks for the input fellas.  

In person, this palm just looks "different" (there are tons of Phoenix around here to compare it to).  So, the idea of it being a hybrid is logical.
