Those are Copernicias hospita, though.  In fact, one of them is pictured in RLR's encyclopedia.

Well, looking at your better-focused shots, I have to agree.  They have much more silvery leaves than any Pritchardtia and the seeds are different.

Dave, when I went to FL I was almost constantly in awe, but I honestly was most stricken by the banyans lining the road to Fairchild (Old Cutler Road?).  Palms I have, and had seen pictures of; but Banyans, well- no picture can do their size and root-schemes justice imho.
