   The new upgrade has some new ways of doing things, and some new features. I am still discovering them myself. It is impossible for me to check everything and every situation - so reports of issues would be appreciated. If you have questions, I will do my best to answer them here.    After only uploading 3 pics in a reply (Peter's "White Triangle" thread) it wouldn't allow me to upload any more pics saying I'm only allowed 8.11 MB. Even when I tried to upload additional pics into another reply box it still won't let me. So you're only allowed 8.11MB total for an entire thread?

   Admins: trying to help a gal get a account here as she said she's tried several times but doesn't get the confirmation email. She posted on Facebook for help. Sara Davis shared a link. 19 mins Anyone here on palmtalk.org? I’ve tried numerous times to sign up on there and never able to get the confirmation link email. I’ve messaged them several times and gotten no response. Is it actually still active?

   I am trying to upload photos to a thread and it is showing "max file upload 8mb". Ive edited my photos down to around 2 mb each and I cannot even upload 1 at a time.

   Problem with forum software

   I use android 8.1.0 with a chrome version 68.0.3440.70 to access palmtalk. When I try to answer on a topic or if I create a new topic the forum software always already shows my last answer in the text field. It also does not allow me to delete old quotations in those entries. I'm not able to just have a blank text field to start my post. I have tried everything. I have deleted my browser cache, my cookies and because everything did not work even the saved password settings for palmtalk. Maybe the data is saved somewhere on your server connected with my session ID? Maybe you could look into this because posting is now a very tedious task. It also makes me wonder about the …

    Palm Exchange suggestion

    I think the Palm Exchange could be improved if it were restructured. Currently the subforums are as follows: For Sale For Trade Plants Wanted Freebies Palm Grower/Buyer Ratings Shipping typically isn't an option when you buy palms so it makes a big difference where the palm for sale/trade/wanted/free is located. I regularly find myself clicking into threads offering palms for sale just to see they're in California and immediately close the thread.     The Back Button

    My back to the prior page arrow when on Palm Talk does not work. It works for everything else I do on my aging Dell computer so I don't think it is the computer. Anyone else having this problem? It's really not a big deal because I just reopen Palm Talk and start over but is a three click process instead of one.

    Seed Germination Data Forum?

    I was wondering if anybody else might find use in a forum in which we can compile seed germination data under species-specific entries (similar to how it is compiled in the freeze-damage forum). I figure that a lot of us grow palms from seed, and it would be helpful to have a place where we can find first-hand data about seed viability, germination rates, germination times, stratification, etc. Thoughts?

    As far as I know, there is only one list in the entire world that is ordered by the Invisible Hand... Favorite Books. The order of this list is determined by the aggregated valuations of the Classtopians, their teacher and myself. When the Classtopians buy a donated item, they can choose which of their departments they give their money to. If they give their money to the Book Dept, they can use it to communicate their valuations of their favorite books. The Book Dept keeps track of everybody's book valuations on a Google sheet.     Just a heads up, I've noticed the site has been down intermittently over the past couple days. I didn't grab a screenshot, but it is saying there's a "500 error". The text below that suggests the mysql isn't able to locate the db... If there's an error log you might want to check it out to see what's going on.

    I browse a lot from my phone but I don't like mobile versions of sites too much. Yet I don't see a Desktop Version button anywhere. I've tried clicking Request Desktop Site but nothing happens.
