Astrocaryum faranae, lrg 7 gal will ship

This is a rare one that I haven't seen too often. I picked it up from Searle Bros. Extravaganza back in I believe 2018. It's been a slow but steady grower in a pot. Currently over growing a 7 gal. It's a very interesting palm not very photogenic, it's loaded with both hairlike spines and large pronounced thorns. Petioles and undersides of leaves have a white almost silver color. It has a large heel and robust root system. It's large and spikey but I'll ship it to most US locations. $300 delivered via FedEx PM me if interested, Thanks a bunch

Hello! I have 10+ Cycas revoluta rooted pups for sale(5+ female and 5+ male, all known sex pups) with no leaves yet. They should flush in a few months to a year at most. They all have thick roots and are ready for potting. Caudex diameter varies from 3-10cm. The motherplants are thick trunked, unlike the skinny C. revoluta i am used to seeing and have leaves more than 1m long. Here are the motherplants: Male Female With good care, the pups can get equally thick trunked and beautiful. I would prefer to sell them as a lot for 75euro. I can also sell them as lots of only male and only female pups for 50euro/lot of 5+ plants.

Zamia Hybrid Seedlings Bulk Sale - 125+ ONE LOT
by PalmatierMeg- 1 reply
I have 125+ Zamia hybrid seedlings and maybe more on the way. The mother plant is a Zamia loddigesii x Zamia pumila I bought years ago at a Palm Beach Palm Sale. The fathers are various male Zamias growing on my cycad row. Selling these seedlings one or two at a time is not feasible and I haven't the resources or energy to deal with them over the coming winter. I am hoping an enterprising Zamia lover will take them and grow them to see what they become. Even now, at 1 to 2 leaves per plant, I can see differences in color and morphology between many of them. My only alternative is to compost them - soon. I'd hate to do that but I've done it before when I was overloaded. If…

Rare palm seedlings - Australia Only
by tim_brissy_13- 1 follower

A variety of rare and collector’s palms for sale ranging from seedling size to established specimens. These species are not typically available at nurseries and generally hard to find, some are quite rare and a couple possibly not offered before in Aus. Palms can be sent express post at buyer’s expense to non quarantine states complete with their pots and soil unless specified. For quarantine states, you will need to engage a concierge service and plants will likely need to be barerooted at your risk which I do not recommend. Pick up available from Mentone, VIC 3194. Refer to the photo for the full price list. I will also consider swapping for other rare palm s…

Zombia antillarum seeds
by NatureGirl- 1 reply
I have about 50 extra Zombia antillarum seeds that are beginning to sprout. These are not seedlings, but seeds sprouting their 'radicle'. This is the first year my Zombia palm has set seed and I know these have a very short viability period so I decided to make sure they were good. I've planted all I want and so now I have a few extra. I'll mail these out in moist spaghum for protection. Not all 50 will have radicles but they should quite soon, would like to mail them quickly before the 'radicle' gets too long and easily broken. $12.50 Includes US Shipping. Thanks, Beachpalms@cfl.rr.com

Thrinax radiata collected this past week. While some palms produce seed year round this palm produces once a year so the next batch won't be till this time next year. Fresh seed for 10 other types of palms collected the past week or two. Thrinax radiata is a native FL palm. Good seed for novices at germination. These seeds are picked when ripe before dropping, cleaned of the fleshy fruit, and are ready for germination. This is a zone 10A or warmer palm outside and can be used as a potted plant in cooler climates. This is a smaller palm when mature as seen in the pics. For more info on this palm http://www.palmpedia.net/wiki/Th…

Copernicia prunifera in treepot
by PalmatierMeg- 1 reply
- 1.2k views
I'm trying to find new homes for palms I have no room to plant. This is my last Copernicia prunifera left from a group I dug up as 1-leafers at a Fort Myers palm park. I found them directly beneath the mother palm, which was identified as C. prunifera. In the Discussion Forum I requested identity confirmation from Copernicia experts. Consensus was that it was C. prunifera, possibly C. alba or a hybrid. As the mother was plainly marked and no other Copernicias were around I'm inclined to accept the ID. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the mother but I'll try to take one if I ever come across her again. I would guess this seedling is about 2 years old, maybe a lit…
