IPS Members may not list items for sale from non-member third parties. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
All palms/plants/seeds offered for sale must include a price and size/quantity. Photos are encouraged. For larger venues or sales, such as nurseries, a link to a price list or a promise of listed prices "at the door" are required. Listings will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms.

I have 14 Sabal bermudana strap leaf seedlings that I don't have room to plant so I want to find them new homes. I germinated them between 12 and 18 months ago. I have germinated a number of Sabals but I've found S. bermudana to be the fastest-growing Sabal species I've grown (yes, "fast-growing Sabal" is an oxymoron but....). Another feature that sets it apart from other Sabals is that while it loves summer heat and sun, it is more tolerant of cooler summer conditions, which makes it easier to grow in areas like Calif. Hello I have the pictured Epidendrum puniceoluteum for sale: The pot is 10cm tall for size reference. The dried twig you see is an old inflorescence. I had this plant ready to go in the ground before my decision to move from Venice. It is a 13" at the ground level (a little larger down below, with about 2 dozen leaves about 8 feet long. It is a monster and is a very tidy large Central African green. I was originally asking $1400 for this plant, but will sell it for $1075 delivered anywhere from Orlando south to Miami. I have a number of Sabal miamiensis grown from the original batch of seed I germinated back in 2007. They are robust 7 gallons now and ready to plant in the ground. This is an excellent palm due to its smaller size, cold hardiness, and does not take up much space. They are $75 each, I hope they get spread around Florida and elsewhere. I can deliver, I will be traveling up to the panhandle the weekend of June 9th, but can arrange a delivery anytime. I have about a dozen I will sell at the moment.
