Back from the wilderness

I just wanted to give everyone a little update. I last posted here on February 9, 2014. Three days later my wife was diagnosed with cancer and seven months later she was gone. It's been a hard road since then. We came to Hawaii to restore this garden together and make it ecologically and economically sustainable. Life sent us another journey. But in Larissa's passing I took the advice of the hospice guys and stuck to the plan. There's still work to do on the garden, but we've now built four, bamboo Polynesian eco homes for vacation rentals, a saline swimming pool, and a gazebo and a traditional Hawaiian longhouse for private events. There are two, three-bedroom houses and…

Possible San Diego Trip
by buccaneers37- 0 replies
I've been wanting to make a trip out to San Diego for some time to tour some of the amazing gardens I have seen here on the forum. As it turns out, the Bucs have a game against the Chargers on December 4th. What is the weather usually like at that time? Not sure yet if that's where I'm going to go for my little mini trip this year, but it is a definite possibility. The other spot in California I want to visit is San Francisco (the Bucs play there on October 23rd), but if given the choice, I think I'd lean more towards San Diego this year.
