   This is a private garden at the entrance of a 800 acres (320 hectares) cattle ranch, palm nursery, forestry, mango cultivar and private tropical preserve (100 hectares) to be developed in stages as a residential community located in Central Pacific, Costa Rica 15 mins from the ocean.

7. Tropical garden Alicante, Spain

16. Our Backyard

    This summer we built a tiki bar, set up a gazebo, made 10 trips for flat rocks to put around our flower beds, planted 4 Washingtonia Palms we transplanted from Florida, 4 Banana Trees, and a few other tropical type plants.
    Last summer we planted a few different types of Palms, Yuccas, and a few other things. We also made 2 water fountains by cutting, shaping and forming a frame, then used concrete, canvas tarps ripped into random pieces forming it until we liked it.
    A lot of work but it will look awesome next summer! ☀️

17. Bambusa Textilis Gracilis (Graceful Bamboo)

    Jan 2016 - Purchased Bambusa Textilis Gracilis (Graceful Bamboo) from Tropical Bamboo Nursery in Loxahatchee FL. 10x 7gal containers filled my Grand Cherokee to the brim. Made a spectacle of ourselves driving down the highway like this.

21. Peter Pacific's Guatemalan garden

    This is a fairly young garden, less than 10 years old, and the biggest challenge I have is being oceanfront with salt that permeates the air, the soil. My earth is volcanic sand and must be amended with truckloads of black dirt. The crabs have a field day and leave holes everywhere, but with all the problems of a rural coast, I love my garden.

    The MacDonalds have cultivated a palm-rich garden in a mild microclimate near San Francisco Bay since 1990. On August 26, 2012, they hosted the Northern California Chapter of the International Palm Society.
