I figured I would throw this out here. I am going to visit family in Vermont and will be driving up May 25th. If anyone from Jacksonville on up to New York City would like to get some larger plants but couldn't make the trip down to Florida, here is your chance to get something! If I get enough interest, I will rent a 12 foot trailer for extra room.
I am not sure which route I am taking, as sometimes I take 95 up, or I take 17 from Savannah to VA Beach. If you live nearer 95 in SC, NC, or VA, I will switch my route and take 95 through those states. Here are the cities I can stop in or near:
-Jacksonville
-Savannah
-Columbia/Charleston
-New Bern, NC or Rocky Mount, NC
-VA Beach or Richmond
-Washington DC
-Baltimore
-Jersey suburbs of Philly
-NYC area
I assume people north of NYC will not be interested, but I will go up to Albany, then over into Mass then into VT. Email me at cfkingfish@gmail.com if interested in getting plants. I am certified to deliver plants to all states I am driving through.

Hi Christian
What kinds of stuff you got???? BTW, if you want to take a jog off 95 you are welcome to stop by. I'm about 45 min northwest of 95 exit in Selma NC.

Hi Christian -
I'm in Savannah, actually between downtown and the beaches, and was just up I95/US17 yesterday to Charleston. I don't know if I can get down to S. Florida this year, so I am definitely interested in talking. Of course money is tight...for all of us...but I'm definitiely interested. What are you thinking about bringing? I've got a lot of larger, more tropical plants in 25+ gallon pots, so palms don't have to be totally hardy (or huge) for me to be interested. Hey, I was even lucky, and had my 15 ft Caryota survive another winter in the ground (just barely, and wrapped in pink insulation, but it is putting out new leaves!) I grew that one from a seedling, so let me know what you have. Thanks.
I'd love for you to stop and chat for awhile, too. Southern hospitality and all.

Hey guys-
I have gotten some interest, however between the trailer rental and extra gas costs (I get about 9 miles to the gallon when I am pulling a loaded 12 footer), it just is not cost efficient. Don't get me wrong, I would love to bring plants to everyone, but I am on a timetable as well to get up to my father's place. I have more time on the way back, I would likely take y'all up on the garden visit offers. I will keep in touch, and thanks everyone for the interest! Maybe I will make a palm trip in the near future.
