Hello, Jason:
Thank you very much for posting Noel’s obit.  Noel had spent a year or more negotiating with our local government to plant Phoenix dactylifera   / sylvestris on one of the entering avenues of Gainesville.  The negotiations seemed endless; the Govt. wanted to alternate w/ some dicot shrub.   Shortly after Noel’s passing, the city bureaucracy decided to do it exactly as Noel planned!   Gainesville will be a relatively palmy town.  Again, Many Thanks, Jason; and Many Thanks to Noel.

Merrill, that is a really great picture  of the butyagrus next to the Pond.  Is that Lake Meta, just east of Gainesville High School?

Hi, Jason:
These XButyagrus are in Noels back yard, south shore of the pond, north side of his yard.
Address: 600 block of SW 26th place, Kirkwood subdivision.  Don't know of any name for the pond.  I really appreciate your posting.
Best Wishes, merrill
