Since I get a lot of inquiries on how to germinate Psuedophoenix seeds,  Ive made a pic tutorial on how to prepare them for sowing. Once u receive your seeds you’ll need to clean the fruit off. #1I find it much easier to let the fruit dry for a while first, until the fruit wrinkles. #2 Then Soak for a day. #3 Clean. #4 Now let dry for a few days, this wont compromise germination. #5 Put on some newspaper on hard surface like a sidewalk. #6 Using gentle pressure roll seeds around with your foot. You will hear shells cracking off. #7 Finished Shelled Seed. #8 Now, soak a few days then plant!

Had a bunch sprout.  Definitely a good idea to follow the instructions given above.  To crack and remove the shell, I use a pair of channel locks or needle nose pliers and gradually increase the pressure until I hear a small snap.  After the shell came off, only a week or two until the first roots started appearing in moist soil at approximately 90F.

Took only 1.5 months to germinate. No extra filing and other stuff done. Fvery fresh seed though. Like low temps like 26-28°C.  32 was too much.

Easier to just let dry and roll around with foot to crack, but either way, they sprout easy after that. I’ll have some extra seedlings soon.
