Northernmost Washingtonia robusta?

Stumbled across this video recently...not sure if this guy is a PTer or not ...

W.robusta in the UK

This is pretty far north, at 51N...looks like it has a hard time in winter but seems to endure the cold and come back...

Not as far north, but growing unprotected at 49N and looking pretty healthy are these... growing well alongside some Trachys and Canariensis

Jersey Washingtonia

It never ceases to amaze me how tough some palms can be...

Post your pics of high latitude Washingtonia if you have some!

Gold Coast, Queensland Latitude 28S. Mild, Humid Subtropical climate. Rainfall - not consistent enough!

Definetly the UK wins this one. They also grow them in the Tresco Gardens, Scilly Isles, further north than Jersey. That garden is simply impressive!

Yes, this is the UK. Tresco Gardens, Scilly Isles. Almost at 50ºN in the English Channel. :yay:
