Mystery Chamaerops humilis

I'm not a big fan of Mediterranean fan palm. But I came across this weird looking chamaerops humilis that i found to be interesting. There a ton of mediterranean palm around the town and city but I have not seen one like it. 20181130_075822.thumb.jpg.77d888bbf65dcb

I’m with you. Not a huge fan but sometimes you find a nice one. This one is at a gas station I go to a lot. Looks like a coccothrinax.

I always liked this floppy-leafed Chamaerops near where I used to work.

And this nice compact solitary one just down the road from where I presently work. I love the variability of this species.

I have one with fonds even more fused than this.  Just a random find.  Love the variety.

I would love to add a few like that to my collection.  I think that is similar to one I posted several years ago at Dick Douglas' garden.
