Just Joined IPS... little confused

Okay so I just joined the IPS but I never got the second email with the login information. Does it usually take a while to be sent? I hope I am doing this correctly.

I grew up in Winston Salem, NC but had no idea any palms could grow outside the tropics when I was living there.
