Time to upsize potted B. alfredii

Just picked up fifteen (15 gal.) containers I also brought in several bags of potting soil. Tomorrow is going to be a fun day. From 3 and 5 gallon containers I'm up sizing to 15. (Skipping the 7 and 10 gals).  I was looking for the 15 gal. Containers on ebay and amazon, however they are very, very expensive. So I took a trip to a nursery in TJ and they were selling them at $5 USD a piece. I obviously liked the price. The nursery folks did inform me that the price was expensive due to a shortage of the containers.

Anywho, the alfies will get a new lease on life.1535764316843-1079379729.thumb.jpg.df84d

OH YES

They will be more and more beautiful the bigger they get.

Happiness is potting palms, and watching them grow, and get bigger and bigger, then planting them, or having others plant them, and watching them grow some more.

I pray they grow. I neglected them for a while. Their roots had already passed through the bottom of their 3 gallon pots.  I'll also take this opportunity to show today's pic of my 2 year old (anniversary) golden Malayan dwarf coco and the other 1.5 year old cocos.

Nothing to write home about, I know, however, for Socal, it is a considerable achievement. Imho.

Yes, I took out all the remaining San Pedro Cacti. I am taking a gamble with the Cocos nucifera.

:D
