Growing in Kings Park, Perth, Western Australia. Not native to WA and have apparently escaped and naturalized in the South West of Western Australia.

I'm sure there are over Eastern Queensland growing naturally... but your photos are magnificent !  And old pioneering Australians tended to fell the trees for their timber so perhaps not as good as your ones !

The species is extensively planted outside its natural range in Australia. My childhood home in northern Victoria ( 1600klm south of its natural range ) had an extensive avenue of these beautiful trees. These ones pictured are not from my childhood home but are an example of cultivation in Australia.
