Palms in Rome US Embassy

These were taken this morning.

Did not expect to see a flowering Brahea Armata in Rome and especially not at the US embassy.

They also had Chamaerops humilis,

Some very old Washingtonia's and an old Butia with blue /silver leaves..Bluer than an ordinary odorata.

Hard to get good pictures and did not want to worry the guards. I think they got concerned so i explained i was taking palm pictures.  Seemed happy with that but so decided not to take anymore.

Regards

Colin

Thanks for thinking of us while you're in Rome Colin. You should have told them you were the Australian ambassador, which actually you are in one regard.

Happy and safe travels.
