Some seed just came avaialable on seedman. Haven’t seen any on there before I bought a bunch. We will see if it’s the real thing. Same as the latisectus takil and a few others hope they are what they say they are

You should just buy the real deal seedlings from someone you can trust. I have tons of seedlings and can show you 5gallon plants that turned out true to form from the same seed batch.

Nope, can't let any of the 5g go yet. We put about a dozen of them in the ground this spring.

I agree with Joseph. I looked into Seedman years ago and decided not to pull the trigger. Some of the info on his site was outdated or just plain wrong. I'm a stickler when it comes to accuracy and I don't reward lazy or ignorant sellers.

There have been a LOT of "princeps" sold years past that were clearly not princeps.   Old Trachycarpus seed doesnt germinate well either.

I bought my princeps seeds from Garry and was very satisfied.

No, Garry from coldplant. Other than latisectus trachycarpus seeds look too close to really discern. If you mixed them all up in a box you might be able to pick out tesan purely based on size.

Coldplant, sorry about that.

I've not bought from Garry at Coldplant yet but I've heard good things about his seeds. He posts here when he has fresh seeds available.

Seedman has been hit and miss for me. Non-palm seeds are good quality. Palm seeds sometimes have good germination, sometimes they don't. His cycad seeds have always had good germination for me (dioon and cycas). For a couple of bucks per packet, it might be worth trying these, but also try to get seed from others like Garry, RPS, or plants from Joe in North Texas.

Rare palm seeds is from Europe? How long does it take to get the seeds. Seedma for me takes no longer than 5 days  what’s joe from North Texas website info?

I usually get my seeds from RPS within 2  to 3 weeks, which is about the same as when I've ordered from Coldplant.com from China. And Joe from North Texas goes by @TexasColdHardyPalms here on palmtalk.
