Beaucarnea Stricta

I am selling one of my specimen sized Beaucarnea Stricta. This species is related to the common Beaucarnea Recurvata (ponytail palm). The leaves of the Stricta are very different than the Recurvata and tend to be very stiff, narrow and glaucus compared to the floppy, wide and green leaves of the Recurvata. The Stricta is also a very very slow growing plant. With that being said there are not a lot of people growing this species and are hard to obtain at this size. This would be a great addition to any drought tolerant garden. The growing requirements are very similar to the common ponytail palm. Asking $650 or best offer. Thanks for looking. PM me with any questions.

Yes it is still available. I think shipping is possible however it’s probably gonna be pretty expensive given the weight and size of the plant. Please private message me if you want to discuss more. Thanks

They will take 15-20*F depending on condition. The trunking Nolina such as Longifolia and Parviflora have a similar appearance but are hardier.
McNeal Growers had a Nolina Nelsonii with 3-4 feet of trunk if your are looking for larger plants in central Texas. He will sell to non wholesale customers but there is a $600 minimum. You will get better pricing contacting him with a Nursery license .
