PNW exotic garden 8b

Here is Dan Hinkley's garden in WA state. The garden is close to Puget Sound and is a solid 8b garden. 7 acres of garden and nursery at his home. This garden is overwhelming with rare and unusual plants. This is just one type of garden style here.  Hope you enjoy the pics.

Thanks, everyone...  :D It was worth the two-hour drive to see this awesome garden.

I think that is a new Rhododendron Dan collected in one of his plant exploring trips.

There was only one Butia in the garden, posted in the first group of photos, last two.

Beautiful garden, thanks. And exotic to me because I likely can't grow any of those plants.

I'd like to be under the sea in an octopus' garden in the shade.

Last three flowers:

Spider looking flowers is Telopea truncata.

White & Pink flowers are a Rhododendron. Sorry, I don't know the whole name.

Wonderful! What are those grasses in the 5/6th picture?!
:)
EDIT: Nvm, just saw that Texas had answered the question! Hmm, not sure these will survive a cold winter in College Station.

It sure looks like Rhodocoma capensis but these are pretty tall so maybe a newer version??? R. capensis is only hardy to z8.

Not really sure if these are that hardy at least hardy to z8? I did not see them for sale at the nursery this year but maybe in the summer. Will have to see if they sell them next time I go there. They do sell other grasses so maybe I missed them.  https://www.monrovia.com/plant-catalog/plants/3617/giant-cape-restio/

They will live in Texas zone 8. We have started growing this species.
