You might have a problem getting them out of the holes in the fall. They can root in pretty quickly.

Should not be a problem they have just been potted up and if they do actually go through these pots then wow I’m doing something really well

Yes, that's why I said if they root in you'll have a problem getting them out. I've left palms & citrus in pots on top of the ground & by the end of the season I had to cut roots that grew out the holes in the bottom of the container.

There’s a lot of room and rocks underneath no soil for the roots to grab for long time basically there’s a gap underneath to prevent that.

Thank you it’s so nice that nurseries are bringing all kinds of palms up here and we get to enjoy them I have a room in the house all setup for when they come inside
