I have a 25 gallon plant of the oddball Rhopalostylis “Purple Crownshaft” that you can read about here:

No one is really 100% confident what it is as you can read. Also, who knows if the seedlings from this palm also carrier the cool purple trait. Time will tell. I got a few seedlings from Bob De Jong (Pogobob) many years ago that he germinated from his seed collection off the palm in that thread  

Mine in the ground is a robust grower and handles a lot of sun - unlike Sapida
