Ravenea rivularis majesty palm questions

Hey everyone I’m showing some pics these seem to be three headed trees. So are there 3 separate trees clumped together? Looking from mature pics of the tree it’s one head of leaves? If so can I separate these ? Some of the smaller ones would be great in other pots and I could make good use of them?

Im thinking they group them together for the big box store tropical look

these pics are 2 separate pots

Ravenea rivularis is a solitary palm. Why it is sold in pots as multi-stemmed houseplants baffles me. Whether you can separate them safely I also don't know. Maybe someone can tell us how root sensitive they are. If you do so, wash off the potting medium, then carefully and meticulously untangle the roots. Do not cut the roots and avoid breaking them if possible. When palms are separated, repot in fresh medium. Keep watered but not soggy. Don't fertilize until palms establish themselves and grow. This palm loves water and fertilizer and will appreciate being outdoors during hot weather.

Ok I figured so. I will do my best. I’m wondering if the multi potted plants is a root nightmare for competition

I did find some old threads I’m sorry I brought a new one up. Mine are pretty close together will do the water method and be patient and oh yeah get a lot more pots and soil. Cause I have 6 trees in 2 pots!

I've separated some, was 3  in 1 One pot

But bit smaller than yours.

All three survived, if you do decide to separate, by very careful, and take your time. Water well ,they love being wet,

The split went well barely disturbed any roots. It’s insane I still have another pot of 3. My room is like a jungle now. But I’m sure the smaller palms will appreciate there own space

Considering how tight the trunks were I’m happy they separated easy. I can see now how they could choke each other out so now I have a bunch of chances to get these palms to survive lol
