Fungus Spray

I know people use liquid copper fungicide on their palm fans. Can this be used to drench the soil to get to the roots?

If not, what does everyone use for root treatment.

Liquid copper fungicide is also used as a soil drench to treat root rot.  Follow the dilution instructions for spray mix. Be aware of plant compatibility with copper fungicide.

I’m using it on a mule palm. Possibly a Chinese fan palm and a robusta. What’s the compatibility of these to Liquid Copper Fungicide.

Rothbardian1 read the above webpage on palm disease and this old forum thread.  There is no palm that cannot be treated with copper fungicide.  The limiting factor is the dilution rate/percentage with water.

Banrot is probably a better overall choice for soil drenches as it is more specifically manufactured to treat root rot.  It is also used as leaf/crown drenches on palms.  I have sprayed my robusta and trachy with copper fungicide with no untoward effects.

Thanks. I just saw this. I drenched the soul with some copper sulfate. I couldn’t find any Banrot.
