Is using polothene bag over potted Satakentia a good idea ?

Soil needs to be loose and free-draining. Do not use cheap potting mix that turns to muck. Add extra perlite or pumice for drainage. Do not overwater. Soil should be moist, not soggy. Do not let pots sit in trays of water. More seedlings die from overwatering than underwatering.

I do not recommend sealing seedlings in plastic bags. Better to set up a mini greenhouse or a designated area with grow lights and a humidifier.

Young Satakentias are not easy grows, esp. in northern climates where houses are too cold, too dry and too dark in winter. You will have to be diligent and remember the cure to every problem isn't more water. Good luck.
