Used to be called Dypsis Pink crownshaft or something, I don't know what it is now.

But isn't it a pretty little thing.

The pretty little thing just got a new coloured shoot, we were a bit disappointed it is not so pretty anymore.

Unless you think that a brown palm leaf looks good. Not a hint of pink. It looks like it is dying, but it isn't, just slowly getting greener.

And strangely this palms sibling planted not more than 4 feet away, has a new spike too but it is just green, which I think looks better.

So there is some natural variation for you. Called Dypsis rosea now, which is better since neither got any pink on them.
