For my new years resolution I purchased a few seedlings from Redlands Nursery in south florida.  I will grow these up in the next 10-20 years.  (3) copernicia Hospita and (2) copernicia macroglossa.   i bought 4" pots and repotted them into a 5 gallon pots but I split the 4" pot for later removal.  these will be slow, but i dont need any more big palms at this time.  At some point I felt things were growing tall too fast here.  I now find ome of the big palms I planted to take up more space than I envisioned.

Dear Tom,

Nice collection of palms. In my case i started to repot our palms which were in mineral water bottles to regular plastic pots...What is special iam doing it all myself,All my assistants are on vacation and i love the present climate which is pleasant and one can work in the roof top garden even at noon.

I will start a new thread about that later..

Wish you a happy new year and all the best with your new palms.

Love,

Kris.

Yep I may be 75 by the time they trunk.    That is ok, as I like these species better at less than 10' tall.  Smaller palms are easier to place now in my yard.
