I had a chance to take some inventory and noted that I have more Ptychospermas than I thought.

I have an interesting and unusual one, the grower called it P. "paddleleaf". It holds an undivided leaf with pinnae splitting close to the rachis but the outer edges staying fused. Thought to be a hybrid or possibly an undescribed species, the mother plant is somewhere in Cutler Bay, south Florida. I'm not big into hybrids preferring purity instead but couldn't resist this one in case it is a new species.

I think this is ptychosperma macarthrii but not sure. It is got huge since I took this pic, it has been a really good grower

Would be happy to do that but it will be a while before this one seeds. Palmtalker Mandrew968 and his father know the mother source location and might be able to get some seed for you. Ptychos are usually extremely prolific.
