Hi,

Your palm looks fine and healthy to me,Old fronds(boots) are bound to go.

As long the leaf fronds don't dry up or turn yellow suddenly, Or its spear popping out. Iwould say all is fine with your palm.

Keep us updated on its yearly growth.i want to know how fast is this palm.

Love,

Kris.

Thank you all, I was starting to think something was wrong, now I see that the base is no where near as big as it will get and the smaller boots are falling off. Here is a picture from today. The old stretched fronds from when it was in the nursery are starting to die slowly, so next summer it should all be new growth.
