I am currently fixing up and replanting my "courtyard shade garden" and planted it with a lot of my rarer palms.  I was looking down on t this morning and something caught my eye.

Actually just 1 week in the ground :D  It's been in pots for most of it's 10 years with me.  I am renovating my shade garden and decided to plant a number of my really rare and delicate understory palms about a week ago.

I am not expecting to get seeds from this yet.  Based on my experience most palms only start making seeds after about 6  "flowering events.".

With licualas I just need one plant right?  They have both male and female flowers?

Spectacular shade garden. Everything looks great. The Mapu is just the icing on the cake.
