Help Identify Yucatan Palm

Can someone identify this palm for me?  I’m in the little fishing village of El Cuyo on the northern coast of the Yucatan and these palms are planted everywhere as landscaping plants.

Yep, that’s it.  They’re really cool looking when small and they are planted all over the place up here. Unfortunately, according to palmpedia: “It grows easily but slowly in cultivation, a situation which has contributed to the destructive practice transplanting wild specimens to gardens and landscapes. (S. Zona. 2002)/Palmweb.”
