Great growth, Pete!  I think that you may have a P. hillebrandii here?  Glabrata doesn't have tomentum, like that, and the leaf segment tips are typically droopy.  Beautiful plant, either way.  I've experienced great growth as well, going from about 4' to 8', in a little over a year.  But it doesn't look as nice as yours.  You've showcased some excellent fan palms, to grow here.

Hmmm. It was definitely sold to me as "glabrata"... either  way, it's one of my favorites,  trouble free and a year round grower...

Thanks. I got lucky. Bought it as a regular clara from Joe in San Marcos and it seems to be more the "icy blue" type....
