Are they the same palm or different?

Sabal x texensis 'Brazoria' or Sabal minor var. louisiana. They both seem to come from relatively close to each other as well as sharing the same hardiness. Both are trunking and both might come from a hybridization of palmetto and minor. Please someone educate me on these palms Im considering them, but dont want a minor/trunkless palm outside needles and the sabal minor my grandma gave me. Thanks!

I pulled up about a dozen threads using the search function for sabal brazoria. There are many pics and descriptions that should help you out.

I’ve read the same, but how does a palmetto cross happen in Texas where there are no palmettos.   Did they used to grow here long ago?  S. texana x minor would seem more intuitive.

Both are apparently trunking palms so they would have to have palmetto DNA. Some call the Brazoria an "ancient hybrid" but I dont know how reputable that is. Im interested to hear growth rates and differences and if they are related. Wouldnt doubt palmettos being native there pre little ice age or even further back. Interesting none the less!
