Hawaii New Planting Area

Looking to plant palms in front of four foot wall that won't get too tall and block view. Area is full sun and full Trade wind at about 350' elevation.

Too exposed for any Calyptrocalyx species? Any other ideas?

@Mangosteen New planting area + Hawaii in the same sentence is definitely a good way to excite everyone.  You have a large palette of plants to choose from in your location.

Right now I'm only thinking about the area in front of the wall. Presently there are a few papaya trees that grew up from discarded seeds and several Mandela's Gold bird of paradise. Just don't want to block the view with tall palms.

It's a matter of time; after 4 or 5 years, tall palms like Clinostigma or Rhopaloblaste will frame the view and never block it. Many species trunking will do that nicely.
