Know is Tarumã-do-alagado .  Very  beautiful tree in flowering . Beautiful. There are many under-utilized Vitex spp that could make good ornamentals in Florida and SoCal. Some could (and have) become weeds tho, generally species that birds relish. Still, would be interested in seed.

SoCal and SoFla; zone varies by location.

I agree.  We grow vitex agnus-castus a lot in Texas which are very drought tolerant.  If you'd like some seeds, I'm sure I can get a hold of some.  Just send a PM.  I grew some from seed a few years ago and the seedlings looked somewhat like marijuana plants!
