What kind or ecotype of Acrocomia

Although juvenile with a very small base, it has already long, upright leaves and the spines are not that many.

Hard to tell due its size, it's still small to id. Do you have any source where the different ecotypes were described? There are a lot of confusion between aculeata and totai, some botanists consider them the same species (Govaerts) and others not (Lorenzi and Noblick). The WCSPF list them as different so that left the genera with 8 different species.

Anyway it's looking good, is it on full shade? It seems to have elongated petioles.

It is in a quite shady place but this has imo nothing to do with the stretched look. I think cause is mainly pure genetics, because next to it grows a much stockier Acrocomia bought as totai from Florida.
