CIDPs can be found in NC along the coast even up to Atlantic beach https://www.google.com/maps/@34.7030492,-76.7410517,3a,37.5y,46.48h,88.79t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sa6rOOR9EIIPt-jKPCgEsmQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

almost all CIDP in north carolina seem to look like this and arent yet trunking.  one mentioned in this palmtalk thread actually has a decent sized trunk  https://www.google.com/maps/@34.7030492,-76.7410517,3a,37.5y,46.48h,88.79t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sa6rOOR9EIIPt-jKPCgEsmQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

here is the streetview of the palm mentioned.

after finding about 30 CIDP too young to have a trunk, I have found 2 on ocean isle beach that are a good trunking size.  they look pretty good for being that north
