May be number 1.

The other fertilisers has lots of Nitrogen but low potassium.

But for my potted palms i preffer liquid fertiliser.

If you don't have lots of pots it is easy to feed every time you are watering. And increase or not the fertilicer quantity with hot or cold weather, different species and different grow rates.

If they are just seedlings ,just do liquid, half strength, fortnightly

And also 3 monthly granules from powerfeed, again half recommended dosage. Both have good balanced  ratio rates, from bunnings

How old are the seedlings, how many leaves?

Most of them are small , less than 2 years from seed..
