So, one of local stores has Coco palms and I'm not sure how to pick a better one. They are between 3-4 ft tall and still in bipinnate stage. What do u prefer when choosing one, taller, shorter, wider, narrow,.....any ideas??

Thanks

I would look for one that has a wide sturdy stem, healthy roots and unblemished leaves. Secondarily, I would look for one that has the best colors to leaves and petioles. Color is personal perception but my eye is drawn to the exceptional or unusual.

Priority:

1.- Widest stem base. Even if the coco is a "midget" compared to the rest of the offerings shown.

2.- Everything else, is secondary....
