It is Alfredii.  Looks great all year long.  I bought it as a 5 gallon maybe 2 years ago.  So, growth seems to be very steady!

Pedro - Meryta is going strong.  Every time I look at that tree I remember you saying.....   just by it.  It was a straggly 1 gallon I paid $35.00 for from that dude in Hollywood.

Nice job with the Hedyscepe canterburyana.  I have struggled with this plant.  My best looking one just inching along, while other things around it have prospered.  This one has probably been in the ground for close to 7 years.  For perspective the Cycas thouarsii was planted a couple of years later, because the Cycas's roots had outgrown a 1 gallon pot when I decided to plant it there.  Now, the Cycas is giving late afternoon shade to the Hedyscepe.

Sounds great.  I think we could knock out two or three gardens while we are there.

Garden is looking great Jeff!

Gold Coast, Queensland Latitude 28S. Mild, Humid Subtropical climate. Rainfall - not consistent enough!
