Found this at a 2nd hand book store for a couple bucks. I thought it was interesting how much genus and species names have changed since the 1960's when this edition was printed.

I have Betrock's landscaping palm book from the early 1990s. Now many of the genera in it are now invalid.

I have one! None of these though. Mine is called "Florida's Fabulous Trees," it has palms and hardwoods.

When was it that many of the genera of palms changed? Was it in the late 90's? I am assuming that's when genetic testing started.
