What a bummer!  I'm noticing a lot of these broken image links on the site and I have a feeling they will remain broken because Photobucket is asking $399/year to upgrade to allow 3rd party image hosting.

Is there any way this site allows us to go back into older posts and update the photobucket link to a new one?

You need to download all your pics from PB into a zipped file and put them somewhere; thumb drive, external HD, your PC, and then cancel your account. This is total BS. $399??? The site just got progressively worse over the years.

Seriously? Dear god.

As relatively inexpensive as computer memory has gotten in recent years, it makes sense to upgrade to a larger drive.

Keep local copies of the original files and use imgur for reduced quality pics you want to share.

For years I tried encouraging people to upload their photos instead of linking to them. But not everybody listened. And eventually I gave up.

Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.
