Seed Germination Data Forum?

I was wondering if anybody else might find use in a forum in which we can compile seed germination data under species-specific entries (similar to how it is compiled in the freeze-damage forum). I figure that a lot of us grow palms from seed, and it would be helpful to have a place where we can find first-hand data about seed viability, germination rates, germination times, stratification, etc. Thoughts?

If there is enough interest, I will float the idea to the PT Committee.

Right now I just use the Search option on each species (or a book), but if more folks were encouraged to post their results in an organized fashion, it could be useful.

It would bring us also to seeds availability and how we can trust those who sell the seeds, maybe we shouldn't start with this question....

You're right, Palm Mod,

And it's quite difficult to make a negative comment (If one really has to) about one of the most famous vendor of seeds.
One may never get the seeds he ordered.
I's why I wrote:

100% in favor for such a sub-forum also.. both for palms and other than palms.. perhaps call it "  Seed Germination data and results forum", or something like that.  Funny that I'm currently processing a ton of harvested Echinocereus fruit/ seed, and some other stuff atm while giving my :greenthumb:''S up to such an idea.
